Following a horrendous May, (6.43 era.) Jason Vargas’s luck finally turned the other way, as he’s pitched six innings or more in his last six starts, compiling an era. of 3.23 in June.
Similarly, Anderson Hernandez, who’s been all but forgotten, is htting .327/.357/.413 in the month of June.

Just for those of you that are wondering why we’re missing a second straight day of game recaps, the Cyclones were rained out last night.
Also, it isn’t all hell, as due to the big club’s rainout, Mike Pelfrey won’t be starting the second game of the doubleheader tonight. There isn’t much else to talk about [...]
