Despite being expected to be in Spring Training this year, 20 year-old Patt Maat, a native of Australia, had several visa problems, but he’s finally on schedule, debuting for the GCL Mets yesterday, going one for four with a double.
Looks like Savannah would be the likely destination for him next year. Of course, the real question remaining is if he’s really 6″4.
