If you want to know the difference between a short-season club and a major league club, look no further than the awful reporting done on the Brooklyn Cyclones.
First Zach Lutz was thought to have hurt his hand on a diving catch, than it turned out to be an ankle injury on the diving play yesterday, (Which I guess you can say was half-right.)
Edgar Alfonzo finally gave the official word, Lutz is listed day-to-day with a grade-1 “twist” of his right foot and is scheduled to visit a doctor on Wednesday so a diagnosis can be made. According to Lutz, he injured the top of his foot and felt tightness in his lower-leg when running to first base after a ground out during his second at-bat and did not injure himself while making two diving catches earlier in the game.
